A Stakeholder Forum is a meant to provide those who are interested with information on the project on a regular basis, provide a forum for discussion on the topic and receive comments and feed-back on the progress.
Membership of the forum is voluntary.
Those who have signed up will be provided with the latest developments of the project, including interim results, publications, event details and other related projects and results and will be able to input any concerns into the project. The members will have access to selected background documents, preliminary reviews and results from the project and will be invited to comment and provide feed-back on issues previously identified by the Research Project Committee (RPC). The forum will have a special working area of the website. Members will also be invited to the open HiWATE meetings, workshops and presentations and will be encouraged to contribute to specific workshops.
We hope that this way we will create momentum and interest for our final workshop, for which we will invite all those who have signed up. A larger number of people including scientists, policy makers, industry and consumer representatives will meet during the proposed open workshop at the end of the project to produce European guidelines and recommendations and set a research agenda for further work.
