Project Management

Overall co-ordination of the project is provided by a Project Co-ordinator and by a Project Manager and Administrator, assisted by a dedicated Project Management Team (ICON).  Both the Project Co-ordinator and Project Manager have experience in running major international research projects, as well as a large number of high-profile national studies.
Management and co-ordination is then undertaken at three key levels: 1) At the full project level, by the Research Progress Committee (RPC), comprising the Project co-ordinator, project secretariat, research area co-ordinators and 1 or 2 WP leaders); 2) At the research area level, by the research area management team, comprising the research area co-ordinator and relevant WP leaders; 3) At the work package level, via the work package management teams, comprising WP leaders and contributing partners.
